Shari has worked over the last 40 years in ministry development, executive administration, church planting and mentoring/coaching. She has authored Atticus, a children's book focusing on self-esteem, and teacher supplement Lessons From Atticus. Shari has written additional programs and seminars in fitness, U-Count, along with life discipleship for urban youth: The Challenge and JV Masters. She is the author and presenter of an empowerment course in changing trauma into triumph, Walking in Wholeness. Shari attended Southeastern Bible College and Central Bible College Detroit Extension and holds a B.A. degree in Family Life Education from Spring Arbor University and is also a licensed minister.

Arthur and Shari have been married over 40 years and have two adult children Paul (Elizabeth) and Jessica (Timothy John ) and 7 grandchildren (her JOY).
